About FeJAL

The Female Journalists of Liberia (FeJAL) is a pioneering organization dedicated to empowering, promoting, and protecting female journalists across Liberia.

Established to provide a platform for women in the media industry, FeJAL aims to address gender imbalances, foster professional development, and advocate for the rights and welfare of female journalists.

Our Fellows

The Female Journalists Association of Liberia Fellowship Program is a distinguished initiative designed to empower and uplift female journalists in Liberia. It offers three specialized fellowships:

Mentorship Fellowship:    Focuses on providing personalized guidance and support from experienced professionals to help journalists enhance their skills and navigate their careers.

News Room Leaders Fellowship:  Aims at equipping female journalists with leadership and management skills to take on senior roles within media organizations.

Young Intern Fellowship:  Targets at nurturing aspiring young journalists by offering hands-on training and exposure to real-world media environments.
These fellowships collectively provide comprehensive training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities, fostering growth and leadership in the media industry.
