She is a skilled communications professional with a Master’s degree in Public Administration focused on Local Government and Rural Development Studies from Cuttington Graduate School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications (Cum Laude) with a minor in Public Administration from United Methodist University. Currently, she serves as the Head of Media & Corporate Communications at the Environmental Protection Agency of Liberia, where she develops communication strategies, conducts research, manages visual assets, and fosters relationships with stakeholders in the environmental sector. Additionally, as a National Consultant for the International Institute for Sustainable Development, she designed communication documents and facilitated workshops related to the National Adaptation Plan. With previous experience as a Multilateral Environmental Agreements Communications Specialist at the EPA, Danise has demonstrated her expertise in media relations, event coordination, and strategic communication planning, making her a valuable asset in any organization.

She is a Liberian journalist with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Public Administration from the University of Liberia (2020). She is the current National Coordinator for the African Media Network for the Promotion of Child Health, Immunization, Nutrition, and Environment (REMAPSEN), and serves as the President of the Investigative Journalists Network of Liberia. Rita is also a Senior Reporter and Newscaster at Lux Radio, University of Liberia, and a correspondent for Voice of America. She has extensive professional development, including fellowships in media mentorship and conflict-sensitive journalism.
