Cheers to two of our emerging women leaders and Journalists as they join members of the Cohort 11 Class of the Young Political Leadership School Africa in a week long leadership training.

Dumalo Traub  and @Precelia H George ( one of our young interns assigned with Prime FM under the Internship series) will deepen their insights on politics and leadership through interactive group sessions.

The YPLS, which is an initiative of NAYMOTE-Liberia , yearly brings together young people from across other Africa countries and learn from scholars and share experiences with the intend of effectuating change in their various countries. This class (Cohort 11) training begun on Monday August 12 and will climax on Friday August 16, 2024.

We’re proud that our members (Damalo and Precelia) are apart of this batch of young political leaders learning new skills and ideas to light up their professional careers.

Nuwo earned her Bachelor’s degree as a Laboratory Technician from Gulzar Group of Institutions (GGI) in India and is a talented journalist who has worked with KMTV and Super Bongese in GBARNGA, Bong County.

Hannah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Graphic Era Hills University in Dehradun, Northern India and has worked with the Daily Observer and as a co- partner at The Stage Media in Liberia. A prominent fact-checking institution in Liberia.

Congratulations to our very own Rachel Kollie, a talented emerging young female journalist assigned to ECOWAS Radio

Congratulations to our very own Rachel Kollie, a talented emerging young female journalist assigned to ECOWAS Radio, for making significant strides in her first radio appearance on Dateline Liberia!

Rachel is part of our Young Reporter Series Fellowship which aims to empower and support emerging journalists in the field of journalism.

She was recruited under the FeJAL Year III USAID Media Activity with Internews young Reporter Series Fellowship which features emerging women journalists from university level. Under the program, Rachel was seconded at the ECOWAS Radio for internship for six months to learn and understand entry level reporting of news and reporting.

Rachel’s debut on the radio showcased her dedication to storytelling and reporting on important issues in her community. We are proud of her hard work and commitment to excellence in journalism.

As Rachel continues to grow and develop her skills as a journalist, we look forward to seeing more of her impactful reporting and contributions to the media in the field of journalism.
